Exactly eight years after my last United-Liverpool match I got the chance to go to this one. And watching from high up in the gods of the north-west Quadrant Stand I witnessed a classic encounter between England's premier two clubs.
The match was a roller-coaster contest from start to the very end of extra time with the winning goal scored in the 122nd minute!

- 6th time seeing Manchester United in FA Cup
- Overall 18th time seeing Liverpool - first time in FA Cup
