A smashing day out in Sunderland for the 8,000 Celtic fans as a confident Celtic side stroll to victory against a sorry Sunderland in this Pre-season friendly encounter.  Callum McGregor shows this class by netting a hat-trick.

The match was arranged to celebrate 20 years at Sunderland "new" ground.

Celtic faced a new foe in Linfield from the dark side of Ireland.  Leading 2-0 from the first leg Celtic increase the aggregate score to 6-0 to progress to the next qualifying round of European football premier competition.
