Second time I've been to this fixture - the first during season 1987/88. Motherwell shock the favourites for the tie with this comprehensive win to make it through to the semi final. Before leaving the stand I say to the old Motherwell fan next to me who realised I wasn't a 'Well fan as I was the only one calm while the Main Stand erupted around me that I'd see him in the final!
Footnote: Motherwell got Rangers* is semi final draw and made it to the final.
