A rollercoaster encounter with the Israeli champions which saw Celtic take a 3-0 half time lead, Griffiths scoring a sensational free kick on the stroke of half time to send the crowd wild with delight. However the mood changed when they were pegged back to 3-2, only for two late goals to give Celtic an impressive first leg lead. Great game, great score in front of another great crowd of over 55,000.
