Airdrie United moved a step closer to clinching the final Scottish Second Division play-off spot after beating East Fife.
The Fifers' David White headed straight at goalkeeper Grant Adam and Scott Morton volleyed over for the hosts in the first half. Sean Lynch broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half with a left-foot strike and substitute Jamie Bain sealed Airdrie's win with a late right-foot shot. Both sides finished with 10 men as White and United's Willie McLaren were sent off for violent conduct.
