Semi Final 2nd Leg

MANCHESTER UNITED  1  CELTA VIGO  1

After a very late scare Jose Mourinho's side booked their place in another European final.  26 year after attending the Legia semi final in old Cup Winners Cup, the same scoreline ensures United will have the chance to add the fantastic UEFA Europa League trophy to their collection of trophies won.

My 71st Manchester United match with 14 in European ties.

2nd time seeing Celta Vigo.

MATCH 1693 - Sunday 9 April 2017

SEASON - 2016/17

 ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

SUNDERLAND   0   MANCHESTER UNITED  3

Scorers: Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan; Rashford

The line-ups:

United with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their team are too strong for a sorry Sunderland side.  This is the third time seeing both sides this season - Sunderland have lost all three by three clear goals while United have won three in Europe, cup and now league.
