Celtic are still on a downer after their Champions League exit and it shows in this lacklustre performance as they need extra time to see off their lower league opponents.

A night of high drama at Celtic Park but Celtic crash out of the Champions League to their Romanian opponents. After drawing the first leg Celtic trailed 0-1 at half time in this one but with under 30 minutes to play were leading on the night and more importantly on aggregate.  However as the game progressed Celtic were living on their nerves and couldn't hold out.

Pre-match the home fans anticipating a great European evening.

A fine performance sees Celtic take a commanding lead in the two-legged tie with the highlight a trademark Leigh Griffiths free kick on the stroke of half time.  Neil Lennon's Scottish players step up to the plate with three on the scoresheet - Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor as well as Griffiths.

THE EDOUARD CUP FINAL

& THE TREBLE TREBLE aka "THE TRINITY TREBLE"

52 years to the very day Celtic won the European Cup they create another piece of history by securing the domestic treble for an unprecedented third year in a row - the Treble Treble!

After Hearts take the lead in the second half French striker Odsonne Edouard steps up and producing a match winning performance.  First he wins a penalty and converts it to equalise.  Then he is sent clear by Swede Mikael Lustig and fires home the winner.  It is the first time in the clubs history they've won Scotland's oldest domestic competition three years in a row.
