SEASON 2023/24

SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Venue:  CELTIC PARK

CELTIC  3  HEARTS  0
Scorers:  Kyogo(2), O'Riley

Celtic put on their best performance of the season to see off the team that has caused them most problems this season. Celtic dominated from the start and Kyogo gave them a deserved two goal lead before the break.

If anything Celtic's performance got even better in the second half although they didn't get the same reward in terms of goals until two minutes from the end when they were awarded a penalty which was converted without any fuss from Matt O'Riley.

The result and performance was hailed by the 60,000 crowd who whipped up a sensational atmosphere throughout the game.

Personalnote:
  • 2nd time attending this fixture this season, both at Celtic Park
  • 102nd time attending it in the league
