Celtic reached the Scottish League Cup final by putting on the style at Hampden scoring three goals in each half to record an empathic victory over Aberdeen, who are currently the second best team in Scotland. Daizen Maeda notched an excellent Hampden hat trick.
Sitting in the second back row of the East Stand way behind the goal however it gave a good overview of the full pitch.

An eventful afternoon with the top two sides going head to head (like old times). Two goals in each half, with Celtic going 2 up through a Japanese combo of Hatate and Kyogo. Aberdeen giving a strong show of their strength in the second half replying with two to tie the match and stay joint top of the league.
This was the second time seeing Aberdeen this season after the opening game at Queen of the South and they have developed into a very good team under new manager Jimmy Thelin.

CELTIC 5 FALKIRK 2

Great match between two sides unbeaten in their respective leagues - Celtic in the top tier and Falkirk in the Champtionship (tier two). Falkirk lead at half time 2-1 against a much changed Celtic starting XI however on the hour mark Celtic make four substitutions and then score four goals to take the tie away from Falkirk.
A feature of the match is Nicolas Kuhn's half hour appearance in the second half sees him make two goals, score two goals and win man of the match.

Trailing by five goals after an awful first leg for Celtic and their new manager, Gordon Strachan, they come storming back in the return leg backed by their home fans.
Celtic score their 4th goal with 8 minutes to play but unfortunatly can't find the 5th and are knocked out of Europe at the qualifying stage.
This is the first time I seen Celtic play Slovakian opposition.
