First visit to the Stadium of Light since 2018 and Sunderland are still in Division 1 (the third tier of the English Football League).  Two huge clubs meeting in the lower leagues of English football. Both with great fanbases and tonight just over 30,000 are in attendance to see them clash in what turns out to be a real one sided encounter as Sunderland secure an emphatic win to go top of the league.

This is my 30th match at the Stadium of Light.

And the 5th time seeing Sheffield Wednesday.

Celtic win their 20th League Cup.

After a non eventful first half Hibs take a shock lead early in the second half but Japanese  sensation Kyogo Furuhashi equalises immediately and then goes on to make himself a cup final hero by scoring a winning cup final goal.

It's the first piece of silverware for Austrialian manager Ange Postecoglou and a host of players he has signed in the summer.

With injuries mounting and the normal hectic December period for Celtic they have to dig deep for victory over a decent Motherwell side.

Tom Rogic delivers the vital goal on the stroke of half time.

End of the group matches and although everything is settled the two teams each making a number of changes create an exciting match as Celtic edge out their Spanish opponents in this five goal encounter.

A tough home win over the Dons.  This is the 128th time attending this fixtire in total with 106 of them in the league.

My first time seeing the B team in action in the Lowlands League and although the match lacks quality there is plenty of goal action to keep my interest.

Paul is on the line again for what is my 8th match at the Excelsior Stadium.

Paul is on the line for another Scottish Lowlands League fixtures and it gives me the chance to visit a new ground - K Park on the outskirts of East Kilbride.

The ground is not easy to get to unless travelling by car.

Another chance to see Elgin City this time in the Cup in which I hoped to see them win for the first time and despite a good start with an excellent long rane shot they could only manage a draw against non-league Clydebank.

An old fashion cup tie in a tight little ground with a great crowd of just over 1,000 and live on TV on a Monday night.

New ground - like my previous Elgin games another chance to visit a ground I wouldn't otherwise visit. The ground is easy to get to as it's next to Yoker train station. 20 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street.

A new club - Clydebank formed after the demise of the previous Clydebank Football Club in 2003.
