Celtic reached the Scottish League Cup final by putting on the style at Hampden scoring three goals in each half to record an empathic victory over Aberdeen, who are currently the second best team in Scotland. Daizen Maeda notched an excellent Hampden hat trick.
Sitting in the second back row of the East Stand way behind the goal however it gave a good overview of the full pitch.

- 16th time seeing these sides meet at Hampden since 1983
- 2nd time seeing Aberdeen in League Cup this season and my 3rd Celtic match in the competition.
